Uninstalling the SANsurfer Application — Step 1
- Do one of the following to start the SANsurfer Uninstaller:
From a Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003 system, do the following:
- Click the Start button, point to Programs, point to QLogic Management Suite, and then click SANsurfer Uninstaller.
Perform the following steps to use Add/Remove Programs:
- Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- The Add/Remove Programs dialog box displays (see the illustration below). Click Change or Remove Programs (default).

- Select SANsurfer x.x.
- Click Change/Remove.
From a Red Hat/SuSE Linux or Solaris SPARC/x86 system, do one of the following, and then press ENTER:
- On a Red Hat/SuSE Linux system, if /usr/local/bin is in the path, type: SANsurferUninstaller.
- On a Solaris SPARC/x86 system, if /usr/bin is in the path, type: SANsurferUninstaller.
- On a Red Hat/SuSE Linux or Solaris SPARC/x86 system, do the following if none of the above are in the path:
- Change to the directory where the SANsurfer application is installed. The default location is: /opt/QLogic_Corporation/SANsurfer/UninstallData.
- Type: ./SANsurferUninstaller
